Acquired: Signed by the Gamblers as a free agent on December 26, 1983

Pro Bio: Dependable receiver and special teams player who saw action in both Gambler seasons... Started five of 17 games in 1984... Did not play in week 7 against Washington following arthoscopic surgery for a strained left knee ligament in 1984... Was the Gamblers' third-leading receiver with 40 receptions... Season best was five catches against both San Antonio and Chicago... Returned one punt for one yard, and one kickoff for 18 yards... Seven catches for 112 yards ranks him second on both USFL postseason receiving categories.

Played in 1982 for the CFL Toronto Argonauts... Spent early part of 1983 season with Hamilton... A compact, aggressive and persistent runner... Recorded 14 receptions for 221 yards (15.8 avg.) in seven Argo contests in 1982... Played briefly for the Chicago Bears in 1981.

College: Four-year letterman... Team captain his senior year... Attended Eastern Illinois from 1977-1981... AP and UPI All-American in 1981, as well as All-MCC... Played on EIU's 1979 national championship team... Led the nation with 19 TD receptions in 1981... Also grabbed 57 passes that year... Has a career collegiate total of 61 catches for an amazing 27.8 yards per catch average.

Personal: Attended Carl Sandberg High School in Orland Park, IL... Lettered in football, wrestling, track and hockey... Voted All-State in football... Went undefeated his senior year in wrestling... Has a career wrestling mark of 134 wins, four losses and one tie... Illinois State Wrestling Champion one year... Marketing major at EIU. Enjoys golfing and duck and pheasant hunting.
