Bio: (1984 season) Started the Gamblers' first eight games as the club's single running back before breaking his leg
in the final minutes of the contest in Oakland (April 16)... Missed the next seven games but played in the final three games
of the season... Rushed for 200 yards on just 20 carries in the win against the Blitz in week 3, setting a USFL single-game
record that would be broken later in the year by teammate Todd Fowler... Also scored a USFL record four touchdowns... Still
finished the 1984 season as the team's second-leading scorer with 100 points... Had another outstanding game against the
Invaders, with 20 carries for 154 yards and two TDs... Named USFL Player of the Week after his performance in Chicago... Proved
to be the fluid, elusive runner needed to compliment the workhorse Fowler.
