as Jim Kelly's backup in 1984, finishing the season with 39 completions in 80 attempts, including a 69-yard touchdown
pass... Best outings of the year were a home game against Michigan when he was six of ten for 136 yards and a touchdown pass,
and the regular season finale when he completed 12 of 25 passes for 160 yards... League Media Guide referred to Dillon as
"One of the bright young quarterbacks in the USFL."

College Bio: Record-setting passer who guided Cal State-Long Beach to an 8-4 record in 1983... Burst onto
the major college scene in 1982, when he set 16 school and conference records, and became the No. 2 man in NCAA history for
total offense in a single season (3,587 yards)... Became the 49ers' all-time leader in career passing (5,704) and total
offense (5,588) last fall... Completed 209 of 379 passes for 2,187 yards and 11 TDs as a senior, earning him second team All-Pacific
Coast Athletic Association acclaim... Established 22 school, conference and NCAA records during his two years at CSLB... Eclipsed
career school marks for pass attempts (883) and pass completions (498)... Was voted PCAA Player of the Week vs. Nevada-Las
