Acquired: Signed as a free agent in 1983

Pro Bio: Member of the Gamblers defensive secondary during both campaigns... Started 15 of 18 games for the Gamblers in 1984... Did not start in the first three games of the season... Paced all defensive backs with 80 solo tackles, 25 assists, two quarterback sacks, two fumble recoveries and two interceptions... His solo tackle total placed him second on the team behind linebacker Kiki DeAyala... Season high was 11 solo tackles against the Michigan Panters twice, both in the Astrodome and Silverdome... Two regular season interceptions came against Jacksonville and Chicago, and also picked off a Greg Landry pass in the playoff game agaisnt the Wranglers.

Eleventh round draft pick of the New England Patriots in 1983.

College Bio: Competed for the Houston Cougars from 1979-1982... Received All-Southwest conference honors his final year... Appeared in the 1980 Cotton Bowl, 1981 Garden State Bowl and 1982 Sun Bowl... Ranks third on Houston's all-time interception list with 12.

Personal: Lettered in football and basketball at Furr High School in Houston... Voted All-District in basketball... Majored in business technology at Houston.... Enjoys playing basketball and swimming.
