Pro Bio: Important anchor of the Gamblers defensive line both years of
the team's existence... Voted second team All-USFL by the league's writers and broadcasters in 1984... In 1984
Fitzpatrick started all 18 games, and finished first in the USFL among interior linemen with 13 1/2 quarterback sacks... That
total tied him for second on the team... Had more tackles than any other Gamblers lineman with 55 1/2, 20 assists and a single
fumble recovery... Defensive bests were two sacks at home versus Oklahoma, and seven tackles and one sack at Michigan.
