A black, lightweight windbreaker
with a half-zip front. The classic team logo and "HOUSTON GAMBLERS" name is screened in a one-color red format
across the back. There are no graphics on the front. The most interesting feature is the fact that the windbreaker folds up
into itself -- into a pouch that's the shape of a football! A similar small logo is screened on the outside of the "football"
pouch.

We
obtained this windbreaker in its original retail packaging (see first photo). The garment was folded in a clear plastic bag
with a "Logo 7" sticker/tag in place near the Gamblers logo on the left breast. This neat windbreaker was indeed
manufactred by Logo 7 and is made of a 100% nylon shell... The black/white sleeve and neck trim is made of 100% acrylic.
Like the black windbreaker above, this is very lightweight and a half-zip. A handwarmer-style pocket is below the
zipper. The Gamblers team logo and "HOUSTON GAMBLERS" name are embroidered on the left breast.

This pullover jacket, made by LOGO 7
Inc., is very similar to the one pictured above... The main difference is that the cuffs, waistline and collar are trimmed
in red and white, versus black and white. The Gamblers team logo and team name are embroidered on the left breast ("HOUSTON
GAMBLERS" is embroidered in red, as opposed to the jacket above).

The most classic and popular of all Gamblers
jackets, manufactured by Swingster. This style can be found online on a semi-regular basis, and the sizes we have seen range
from small to extra large. Members of the Gamblers were known to wear this type of jacket, from owner Jerry Argovitz on down.
There is no difference between the ones worn by the team and the ones sold in retail outlets.

Our personal favorite jacket style is this
beauty, made by MacGregor. Consisting of a red and black body, along with horizontal white, black and red pistripes across
the middle, this lightweight windbreaker has a full-length zipper on the front. The rectangular Gamblers patch on the front
was also sold by itself, making us wonder if it was originally included when the jacket was sold. To this point, we have never
seen another jacket similar to this one.

This "official souvenir" belt buckle
was distributed by Great Promotions, Inc. of Tampa, Florida. The buckles were packaged as shown. A white disc in the middle
of the buckle (approx. 1 5/16 inches in diameter) features the four-color Gamblers logo. The rest of the buckle front has
the appearance of a copperish electroplated surface that is shiny in the pattern areas, and dark in the background.
The overall length of the belt buckle is approx.
3 3/4 inches long.

Here's a letter sent by the Gamblers
to their 1984 season ticket holders. Team Owner Jerry Argovitz thanks season ticket holders for a great year, and offers
tickets for the 1985 season. As a bonus for buying two season tickets for the 1985 season (or for $10.50 each), fans
received a brass belt buckle commemorating the Gamblers' 1984 Division Championship.

The brass buckle above was also made in a
silver-type version, which was given to players and team staff. These buckles came in heavy cloth pouches, as shown in the
photo.

This nifty, tough-to-find square belt
buckle is approx. 2 1/2 by 2 1/2 inches in size. It was manufactured by Hit Line U.S.A. and features a three-dimensional face.
A raised border surrounds a raised Gamblers team logo and "HOUSTON GAMBLERS" team name. The buckle aslo features
a small 1983 copyright line, which is found on many USFL liscensed products. This heavy buckle is made of a brushed metallic
alloy.
