Distributed in early 1984, the inaugural
Pre-Season Prospectus was the first publication released by the Gamblers. Containing 32 pages, it gives an early roster (as
of Dec. 27, 1983), biographies and a press credentials request form.

The Gamblers 1984 Media Guide contains
224 pages, and features Jim Kelly/Bill Searcey artwork on the front cover. The back cover features a 1984 Gamblers season
schedule. Two
versions of binding exist for the media guide. One is the traditional spine, while the other is spiral-bound (the
spiral is much harder to find).

Jim Kelly was featured on the cover of the
weekly USFL "Kickoff" magazine, which was distributed as a program to every stadium in the league during games
(each version had different inserts with local advertising and team info). This issue was distributed in 1985 for the Week
8 games.

The much-coveted 1985 Year In Review.
Issued in limited quantities after the Gamblers were purchased by Trump, it is arguably the rarest publication issued by the
team.
|
|
New Jersey Generals owner Donald Trump purchased
the Gamblers, and merged the two teams after the 1985 season concluded (retaining the Generals franchise name). Pictured here
is Jim Kelly on the cover of the July 21, 1986 issue of Sports Illustrated. Unfortunately, the USFL's final game had already
been played.
